Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events

Many products found in your home are considered hazardous substances. Because of their chemical make up, they can poison, corrode, explode or ignite easily if not handled properly. When these products are discarded, they are considered household hazardous waste (HHW). They can cause a threat to human health or to the environment. They must be disposed of properly. It is illegal to dispose of household hazardous waste in the trash, down storm drains or onto the ground.

These types of waste should be disposed of at special HHW Events set up by the City and County. These events are held in February, March, June and October at the City of Moreno Valley Maintenance Facility located at 15670 Perris Blvd.
