The City of Moreno Valley provides trash, recycling and special waste handling services to residents and businesses through a contract with Waste Management. No other haulers are authorized to operate within the City.

2026 Residential Shred Event
The City of Moreno Valley invites residents to a FREE drive-thru shred event. Residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents such as tax records, bank statements, medical files, and other confidential papers. The event is open to Moreno Valley residents only.

Mulch is available to City residents from Monday to Saturday at the City Yard. Be sure to bring your own container and shovels!
