Over 7,800 building permits were issued in 2024, and over 32,000 building & safety construction
inspections were conducted.
The Animal Shelter logged over 17,000 visits, over 12,000 field service calls, and celebrated
over 3,100 positive outcomes for sheltered pets.
The City’s Community Enhancement and Neighborhood Services team conducted over
24,000 neighborhood service inspections and assisted over 14,000 residents.
